Books you
keep up with.

A shoebox in March costs you money twice: your accountant's hourly rate to sort it, and every deduction that never made it into the pile. Thirty minutes a week prevents both.

How we work

Bookkeeping coaching — not tax advice

The line matters, so here it is plainly: Elvantax is not a CPA firm, an enrolled agent or a law firm. We give no tax advice, prepare nothing, file nothing, and represent nobody before any tax authority.

What we do is teach you to keep records that are complete and current, so the professional you hire spends their time on advice rather than on sorting receipts. Deductibility, entity structure and filing questions go to them — and having clean books makes those conversations much shorter.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Can you tell me what's deductible?

No. That's tax advice and it belongs with a CPA or enrolled agent. We make sure the records exist and are organized so they can answer quickly.

Will you do my bookkeeping for me?

No — we coach you to do it. If your volume has outgrown that, we'll say so and suggest hiring a bookkeeper instead.

I haven't touched my books in a year.

Very common. The catch-up intensive exists for exactly that, and we work backwards month by month rather than trying to fix everything at once.

Which software should I use?

Often a spreadsheet, honestly, until volume justifies more. We take no commission from any software company.

Should I be an LLC or an S corp?

A question for a CPA and possibly a lawyer. We won't guess at it, and anyone offering a confident answer without knowing your finances should worry you.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.

Behind on your books?

Twenty minutes on where things stand and what to do first. Free.
